COMPETITION FOR THE BEST LITERARY WORK

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Alija Izetbegović, the first President of the independent Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the founder and benefactor of Fund ”Bošnjaci“, for high school students and students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Diaspora we are seeking applications for the best literary work on the theme: ”Pokazao si nam stazu ponosa i strpljenja“. (Engl. "You have shown us the path of pride and patience.")

Terms of competition

• At the competition may participate, high school students and students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Diaspora.
• At the competition may participate equally authors of literary expression: poetry, prose and others.
• The papers should not exceed 7 pages (1 page = 1,800 characters).

The deadline for submission of papers is: 7th December 2015, up to 15 hours.
The papers should be mailed to: Fond ”Bošnjaci“, ul. Džemala Bijedića br. 17, 71000 Sarajevo or by e-mail: fondb@fondbosnjaci.co.ba with note:

After the Fund's Commission makes a selection of the best works, the results of the competition will be announced on December 15, 2015, on the Fund ”Bošnjaci“ website (www.fondbosnjaci.co.ba).

The height of prize is:

• The first prize is: 600.00 KM
• The second prize is: 400.00 KM
• The third prize is: 200.00 KM

Awards and prizes will be awarded at a ceremony which will be organized by Fund ”Bošnjaci“, of which the winners will be duly informed.
The awarded works will be published on the Fund ”Bošnjaci“ website and Islamic informative newspaper Preporod.

NOTE :
The submitted papers are not subject to return, and the Fund ”Bošnjaci“ reserves the right to their partial or complete use of with the obligation to indicate the name of the author.
