The anniversary of the birth of Alija Izetbegović, the first President of the independent Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the founder and waqif of Fund ''Bošnjaci'', was marked at the "Kovači" martyr's cemetery, with an appropriate program, in the presence of a large number of young people, dignitaries and family.
