Scholarship holders held gathering in travnik and jajce during several days
More than eighty scholars of Fund "Bošnjaci" from almost all public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a number of secondary schools from 3rd to 5th August 2018 participated in gathering organized in Elči Ibrahim-Pasha medresa in Travnik during several days.
The main objective of organizing this project was to meet, socialize, exchange ideas and experiences, additional education in subjects that are not sufficiently represented in formal education, learning about the mission and character of Fund “Bošnjaci”, developing a sense of commitment to the Fund and its objectives, and developing of solidarity, friendship and cooperation between scholarship holders and introduction of a number of the natural and other attractions of Travnik, Jajce and their surroundings.
In richly designed content, through educational lectures, scholarship holders had the opportunity to get acquainted with several important topics such as: “Operation Vlašić 95”, discussed by the direct participants of General of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fikret Ćuskić and Brigadier Remzija Šiljak, then "Seventy Years of Israel's Genocide against the Palestinians" discussed by the respected General of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fikret Muslimović, author of that book and "Homeland in the Heart of Bosniaks" spoken by the War Commander of the 4th Muslim Lightweight Brigade of the Army of the Republic Bosnia and Herzegovina Nezim Halilović Muderris.
During the several-day gathering, the scholars visited some of the most important natural and cultural-historical sites in Travnik and Jajce, such as the Blue Water, Old Town Fortress, Ilhamijino Turbe, Shahid's Cemetery, Hajji Ali-Bey's Mosque in Travnik, and Pliva Waterfall and the Museum of the 2nd Session of AVNOJ in Jajce, Jajce Clock Tower, Mosque of Esma Sultania, Mills on the river Pliva and other.
Part of the free time was used for sports and recreational activities in the educational and sports center Elči Ibrahim-Pasha Madrasa in Goleš, near Turbe.
