INSTRUCTIVE TEACHING FOR PUPILS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL IN POTOCARI, SREBRENICA

Fund "Bosniaks" is for children of returnees, and ninth grade students of primary schools in Potocari, Srebrenica municipality, organized and funded the instructive lessons in Mathematics, Physics and English language, which was held in April and May of this year.

Director and Secretary of the Fund on 28 May visited the class and instruction in mathematics, and on that occasion they talked with students, their professor of mathematics and physics Begija Vejzovic, and professor of English Senaid Smajic. Director of the Fund Mr. Sahin Kerla congratulated the students successful mastering of primary education, wished them a successful secondary school enrollment and successful future in general education, and a teacher with students expressed their gratitude to the Fund which enabled them instructive lessons which will help them in their future schooling and enrollment in secondary school.

At the same day, in accordance with our program goals and objectives, we visited the regional primary school in Skugric (8 students) Milici municipality, then in primary school in Konjevic Polje (approximately 170 students) and Regional primary school in Glogova (27 students). All students in these schools are returnees, mostly coming from a large number of remote villages of these municipalities. The aim of the visit was to examine the situation, conditions and lack of essential teaching materials for performing and improvement of teaching activities and better implementation of program goals and objectives. After determining of needs the Fund shall in accordance with own capabilities provide the most essential teaching aids and some other regional schools in the municipality Milici, Bratunac and Srebrenica. Provision of teaching aids, as well as visiting of the remaining regional schools in these municipalities will be implemented at the beginning of the next school year.
