Fund ''Bošnjaci'' signed scholarship agreements for academic year 2025/26
On Saturday, December 20, 2024, in the hall of the Student Center of the Islamic Community in Sarajevo, in the presence of friends of the Fund, scholarship holders and the media, the signing of the Agreement on Scholarships for Students for the 2025/26 academic year was held.
On this occasion, agreements were signed with 66 students. The agreements were signed by 40 students of the first and 10 of the second cycle of studies, and 16 students of the First Bosniak Gymnasium and Madrasah in our country.
Among the scholarship winners, 8 students with an average grade of 10.00, three are students of the generation, one is the pride of the school and four freshmen who achieved an average grade of 5.00. The average grade for students in the second cycle of studies is 9.63, for the first 9.14, and for students 4.83.
On behalf of Fund ''Bošnjaci'', the attendees were addressed by Edin Omičević, a member of the Management Board, who, with an appropriate presentation, presented the mission, role, importance and achievements of the Fund with special emphasis on the awarding of scholarships to gifted pupils and students.
On behalf of this year's scholarship winners, the attendees were addressed by long-time Fund scholarship holder Fatih Žgalj, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo, Department of Physics, a student with an average grade of 10.00.
On this occasion, the new waqfs of Fund ''Bošnjaci'', Nijazim Ramić, Vahidin Hasić, R. Seida Kavazović and Dževahira Baždar, were awarded waqfnamas, as well as letters of gratitude to Prof. Dr. Esma Ruždić and Sead Živalj for their selfless financial assistance and support in the work of the Fund.
