Fund ''Bošnjaci'' signed scholarship contracts for the school/academic year 2023/24.


In the amphitheater of the Gazi Husrev-bey Madrasa in Sarajevo, On December 13, 2023, in the presence of members of the Fund's Management and Supervisory Board, directors of GHM and PBG, representatives of the Islamic community, friends of the Fund, scholarship holders and the media, a ceremony was held to sign the Contract on Scholarships for the school/academic year 2023/24.

On this occasion, contracts were signed with 44 male and female students in the first and second cycle of studies and 15 male and female students of madrasas and the First Bosniak High School. One scholarship was provided for the students of the Madrasa "Reis Ibrahim ef. Maglajlić" in Banja Luka. The average grade for students in the first cycle of studies is 9.27, in the second 9.52, and for pupils 4.86.

Among the winners of this year's scholarships are 7 male and female students with an average grade of 10.00, eleven are the winners of the most prestigious university awards such as the "Gold and Silver Badge", "Gold and Silver Plaque", "Dean's Charter and Rector's Charter" '', ''Dean's Award'' and others.

The attendees were addressed by Šahin Kerla, the Director of Fund ''Bošnjaci'', who spoke about the founding goal, mission, role, importance and achievements of the Fund, with reference to scholarships for especially gifted students and pupils.

At the end of the address, the Director of the Fund sent congratulations and a message to the scholarship recipients, stating that he expects them to stay in their country after completing their education and starting a working relationship and make it better and more prosperous, to work on the affirmation and improvement of the Fund, to help it financially in accordance with their possibilities in order to ensure the continuation of his noble mission.

On behalf of this year's scholarship winners, Fatih Žgalj, a second-year student of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Sarajevo, Department of Physics, with an average grade of 10.00, addressed the audience.
