FUND ''BOŠNJACI'' SIGNED AN AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION WITH FOUNDATION (WAQF) PROF. DR. NECMETTIN ERBAKAN

At the initiative of the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Turkey HE Damir Džanko as of February 17, 2015, in Ankara was held a meeting of Director of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' with the President and the top leadership of Foundation (Waqf) Prof. dr. Necmettin Erbakan.

Given that the founders of these two waqf Alija Izetbegović and Prof. dr. Necmettin Erbakan were statesmen and longtime friends, was held an appropriate ceremony during which, in the presence of a large number of officials, our Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey and the media, was signed the Agreement on Cooperation between Fund ''Bošnjaci'' and Foundation (Waqf) Prof. dr. Necmettin Erbakan. The agreement, to the mutual satisfaction, was signed on behalf of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' by Šahin Kerla, Director, and on behalf of the Foundation (Waqf) Dr. Fatih Erbakan, President.

The signed agreement is the framework for comprehensive cooperation between similar waqf in the fields of education, science, culture and new technologies which, among other things, provides the possibility for exchange of students, members of the academia, as well as for work on joint researches in the field of education and science, and mutual assistance in preparation and organization of seminars, conferences and workshops.

Signing of this Agreement represents a significant step forward toward bringing closer these two very similar waqf as well as improvement of relations between two friendly countries. We are sure that time will show the importance of signing of this Agreement and by the realization of planned activities we will enable significantly better conditions for promotion of education, science and culture of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
