Fund ''Bošnjaci'' organized the Student Conference on Alija Izetbegović " Bosnia comes first"


Fund ''Bošnjaci'', in cooperation with the "Alija Izetbegović" Museum, the "Alija Izetbegović" Foundation and the "Young Muslims" Association, organized a Student Conference on Alija Izetbegović "Bosnia comes first" at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla. The co-organizer of the Conference was the Bosnian Cultural Center of the Tuzla Canton.

The aim of the conference was to encourage young people to study the works of Alija Izetbegović in order to become familiar with his messages, life and work.

The conference was attended by a large number of dignitaries and young people to whom seven students, after studying the works of Alija Izetbegović, presented their works prepared under the mentorship of prof. Ph.D. Admir Mulaosmanović.

Those present were addressed by prof. dr. Amir Karić, Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Tuzla and Lejla Akšamija, on behalf of the Izetbegović family.

In two panels, their works were presented by: Amina Kahriman, student of the 1st year of the Master's study of the Faculty of Administration in Sarajevo on the topic of "Reflections on Europe", Elvedin Omerović, student of the 3rd year of the FPN in Sarajevo on the topic of "The Alija Izetbegović problem/ criticism of education in the Islamic world", Kerima Spahić, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine in Tuzla on the topic "Izetbegović's concept of the third path", Nedžma Latić, Bachelor of International Relations at IUS on the topic "Justice and Law in the Thoughts of Alija Izetbegović ", Amina Karić, 6th year student of the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo on the topic "Freedom according to the work "My escape to freedom", Lamija Veladžić, 3rd year student of the FPN in Sarajevo on the topic "The Others About Alija Izetbegović" and Naida Redžić, 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo on the topic "Alija Izetbegović on the Other and the Different".

The main message of the conference was a recommendation to young people to study the works of Alija Izetbegović in order to become familiar with his vision, messages, life and work.

During the conference, the "Memories" exhibition about the youth and private life of Alija Izetbegović, prepared by the "Alija Izetbegović" Museum through original documents, letters and family photos, was set up in the foyer of BKC.
