ASSIGNED CASH AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE 18th FINAL MAKTAB COMPETITION

For the third year Fund ''Bošnjaci'' awarded cash prizes and recognitions to the winners of the final maktab competition at the level of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This year, the eighteenth final maktab competition was held on May 23, 2015, at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo facilities, organized by the Riyaset’s Directorate for Religious Affairs. The competition was attended by the best students of mektab lessons from all Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Muftiates areas, which have shown a high degree of knowledge.

The competition, which was organized in exceptionally correct and professional way, took place in three categories, namely: Qira’at (Qur'an recitation) - younger, Qira’at - older age and competition from general knowledge.

Competition, among others, also attended Šahin Kerla, Director of Fund "Bošnjaci", which presented recognitions and a cash prizes to the winners in the amount of 900,00 KM.
