On May 16, 2009 the Fund "Bosnjaci" for own scholars organized one-day visit to the Memorial Center Potocari in Srebrenica and our brave, courageous and particularly very proud grandmother Fata in Konjevic Polje.

The aim of the visit was familiarization with the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica and surrounding villages in the period from 1992 to 1995, as well as well-known brave, courageous and proud grandmother Fata who represents a symbol of struggle, resistance and defiance as it is her Bosnia. More ... Grandmother Fata greeted us enthusiastically on the doorstep of her house while seeing off a group from Sarajevo who has also visited her, particularly delighting that young students ziyarat her, who are, as she said, the most expected to fight for Bosnia and Herzegovina and survival of everybody on his own.

After expressed support, pleasant, emotional, and encouraging conversations with grandmother Fata, we went in the direction of the Memorial Center Potocari where we were greeted by very friendly young people who are hosts now, but also eyewitnesses to everything that has happened to Bosniaks in Srebrenica.

On Musala of the cemetery a representative of the host held a short but very emotional history class to the visitors, after which we visited the graves of Bosniaks buried so far and a memorial room. At the end the scholars watched a documentary film about the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica in the period from 1992 to 1995.

After we visited the Memorial Centre, we also visited during the aggression against RB&H destroyed and now restored, the old bazaar mosque in Srebrenica and sources, worldwide well known, destroyed during the aggression, healing spas Guber.
