COMPETITION FOR THE BEST ART WORK, POETIC AND PROSE COMPOSITION

On the basis of Conclusion of The Riyasat of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina for students of religious education in primary and secondary schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fund ''Bošnjaci'' (Bosniaks) in collaboration with the Religious Educational Service of the Riyasat, announces:

THE COMPETITION FOR THE BEST ART WORK, POETIC AND PROSE COMPOSITION ON TOPIC: :

"ALADŽA MOSQUE BALKAN’ BEAUTY"

The competition includes the following categories of pupil:

1. Competition for the best art work for pupil from the first to the fifth grades of elementary school.
2. Competition for the best poetic composition for pupil from the sixth to the ninth grade of elementary school, and pupil from the first to the fourth year of high school.
3. Competition for the best prose composition for pupil from the sixth to the ninth grade, and students from the first to the fourth year of high school.

Terms of the competition:

• The competition is opened for participants of religious education from the first grade to the fourth grade of high school, according to mentioned categories, with obligatory indication of the religious education teacher’s name.
• The works for category No. 1 may be done by any technique on a sheet of A4 block.
• The works for category No. 2 can contain a maximum of 3 pages of text (1 page = 1800 characters).
• The works for category No. 3 can contain a maximum of 7 pages of text (1 page = 1800 characters).

The deadline for submission of papers is September 27, 2013.

The works can be sent to the following address: Fond ''Bošnjaci'', ul. Džemala Bijedića br. 17, 71000 Sarajevo or by e-maila: fondb@fondbosnjaci.co.ba with reference for the competition Aladža mosque Balkan’ beauty.

After the Commission of experts makes selection of the best papers, the results of the competition will be announced on the website of the Fund ''Bošnjaci'' (www.fondbosnjaci.co.ba), Web portal of The Riyasat of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.rijaset.ba) and the Islamic news papers Preporod on October 18, 2013.

The amount of awards for each category are (a total of 9 awards):

• The first award: 300.00 KM (for the first place in categories No. 1, 2 and 3)
• The second award: 200.00 KM (for the second place in categories No. 1, 2 and 3)
• The third award: 100.00 KM (for the third place in categories No. 1, 2 and 3)

Prizes and awards will be given at a special ceremony which will be organized for this occasion by Fund ''Bošnjaci'' in cooperation with the Religious educational Service of The Riyasat of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 30, 2013.

The awarded papers will be published on the website of the Fund ''Bošnjaci'' (www.fondbosnjaci.co.ba), Web portal of The Riyasat of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.rijaset.ba) and the Islamic news papers Preporod.

Note:
The submitted papers will not be returned, and the Fund ''Bošnjaci'' reserves the right to their partial or complete use with obligation to indicate the name of author.
