THIS YEAR FB ALSO AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO MALE AND FEMALE HONOR PUPILS OF GHB MADRASA


Solemn academy marking completion of schooling of 466th generation of male high school graduates and 34th generation of female high school graduates of Gazi Husrev-Bey’s Madrasa in Sarajevo, one of the oldest educational institutions in Europe, is organized at Gazi Husrev-Bey’s mosque, in Sarajevo, on April 27, 2016.

Education in this prestigious educational institution completed 100 male and female pupils this year, arranged in one male, one mixed and two female classes.

By fulfilling the words of the great waqf Gazi Husrev-Bey who said that in the Madrasa will learn smart and diligent but not indolent and irresponsible pupils, this year's generation of graduates left behind the best results that pupils of the Madrasa achieved in the last ten years.

Students of this generation, among other things, won the first place in the Debate competition for high school pupils, the first place from Bosnian and Arabic languages, as well as the first place in the World Qur'an reciters contest and others.

Solemn Academy, filled with rich religious and other cultural and artistic program, was attended by the envoy of Reis-ul-ulema of Islamic Community in B&H academic Enes Karić, Director of Gazi Husrev-Bey Madrasa hfz. Mr. Mensur Malkić, professors, numerous guests and family and friends of graduates.

Every year, Gazi Husrev-Bey's Madrasa selects male and female honor pupils, and this year these are Irfan Gibanica and Aiša Kvrgić.

Fund ''Bošnjaci'', for the fourth year in a raw, assigns special recognitions and scholarships to the honor pupils of this school, as a reward for their achievements in learning and behavior. Recognitions and the Decision on awarding scholarships are handed out by Šahin Kerla, Director of Fund ''Bošnjaci''.
