PUPILS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL “JOVAN CVIJIĆ” KAMENICA, ZVORNIK MUNICIPALITY VISITED THE CAPITAL OF B&H
On April 23rd and 24th (Saturday and Sunday), 2011 the Fund “Bosnjaci” took part in the organization of arrival, reception and lounge of 34 pupils and 3 teachers in Sarajevo from a primary school “Jovan Cvijic” Kamenica municipality of Zvornik.
The hosts of the students returnees of that school were students and teachers of the First Bosniak Gymnasium in Sarajevo. Students of the mentioned school stayed two days in Sarajevo, an during that time, among other things, they visited the most important sights in Sarajevo, such as the First Bosniak Gymnasium, Gazi Husrev-Bey Madrasa, Bey and the Emperor mosque, the shaheeds’ cemetery in Kovaci, “Museum of Alija Izetbegovic”, “recreational-entertainment center “Pionirska Dolina”, puppet theater, etc.
We will use this occasion to thank the management, teachers and students of the First Bosniak Gymnasium in Sarajevo, International University of Sarajevo, Gazi Husref Bey madrassa, “Association of the Bosniac gymnasium”, recreational-entertainment center “Pionirska Dolina” and all others who have in any way contributed and embellished stay of these students in our city and versatile support of projects which help students returnees which the Fund “Bosnjaci” carries on for several years.
