PROVIDED TEACHING AIDS AND EQUIPMENT TO PUPILS RETURNEES IN MUNICIPALITY DOBOJ

For many years, Fund ''Bošnjaci'' has been providing the most basic teaching aids and equipment for the needs of returnee pupils in a smaller BiH entity. This project has so far included over 3,270 returnee pupils through equipping elementary schools with the most basic teaching aids and equipment, then providing teaching aids and equipment for the needs of pupils, organizing instructional classes in mathematics, physics, English and Bosnian langauge and other.

In the last four years, we have focused this activity on a number of returnee pupils in the municipalities of Prijedor, Teslić, Kotor Varoš and Doboj.

In order to provide teaching aids and equipment for the needs of returnee pupils as well as of Maktab instruction pupils in the MIC of Doboj on November 01, 2019, in cooperation with the Chief Imam of the MIC of Doboj and the Islamic Religious Instructions Coordinator of Doboj and Teslić Municipalities, we visited pupils of the elementary school "Dositej Obradović" Doboj, attended by 604 pupils, of whom 346 are Bosniaks and the elementary school "Milan Rakić", the regional department "Kotorsko" attended by 136 pupils, of which 120 are Bosniaks , as well as 35 pupils of the Maktab instructions. For the needs of these schools, school's pupils and the Maktab instructions’ pupils, the teaching aids and equipment were provided and delivered, such as: piano, microscopes, overhead projectors, school benches and chairs, school boards and bulletin boards, chairs for teachers, cabinets, showcases, shoe racks, easels, a large number of the required reading books for the school library, geometric sets, various types of notebooks and pencils, folders for drawing with blocks, diaries, clothing and footwear kits, tracksuits and more.

In addition to these schools, representatives of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' also visited Duje Reception Center – „HO International Solidarity Forum – EMMAUS“.
