OSMAN TUFEKČIĆ NEW HAFIZ IN BEHRAM-BEY’S MADRASA

In Jama'at Repnik (Majlis of the Islamic Community of Banovići), on Sunday, November 17, 2013 , was officially promoted 33rd Hafiz of Behram-bey's Madrasa in its renewed work. The honor to be 33rd bean on this honorable tasbih of Madrasa's lightest exclamation points was given to young Osman Tufekčić, the fourth grade student of this school.

Hafiz dua was attended by numerous members of the Jama'at from the area of Banovići, professors and students of Behram-bey's Madrasa, and relatives and friends of hafiz Tufekčić. The mosque was too small to receive all of them.

As an envoy of the Rais-ul-Ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina was Hafiz Ismet ef. Spahić, chairman of Riyasat Commission for taking Hifzi. The ceremony was attended by Vahid-ef. Fazlović, the mufti of Tuzla, Zuhdija Adilović, Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty in Zenica with a group of professors from this Faculty, Zuhdija Hasanović, Vice Dean for education of the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo, Senaid Zajimović, director of the Waqf Directorate, Ahmed Hatunić, director of Behram-bey's Madrasa, Sead-ef. Mrahorović, chief imam of MIZ Banovići, and numerous imams and prominent public figures from Banovići.

The Chief Imam of MIZ Banovići Sead-ef. Mrahorović in his speech recalled on the value of learning and preservation of the Qur'an. In his speech, Director of Madrasa Ahmed Hatunić expressed great joy of all in this school because of this great success. He stressed that Behram-bey's Madrasa currently has nine hafizes (3 professors and six students) and that there are a significant number of students who are preparing for this honorable title.

The Mufti Fazlović in his speech stressed the enormous efforts and support which young Hafiz Tufekčić had in his family. Hafiz dua prayed Tufekčić's mentor Hafiz Mirnes-ef. Spahić. After Rais-ul-Ulama’s envoy Hafiz Ismet ef. Spahić held an appropriate speech, he handed a hafiz diploma, while a member of the Managing Board of Fund “Bošnjaci“ Sevret Mehmedćehajić awarded certificate and cash prize of the Fund. Hafiz dua was attended by 13 hafizes.
