Fund ''Bošnjaci'' provided cash prizes and recognitions to the winners of the 28th final competition of mekteb students
Organized by the Directorate for Religious Affairs of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 28th final competition of mekteb students was held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences in Sarajevo.
The final competition, which was held in four categories: Kiraet II (second) level, Kiraet III (third) level, General Knowledge II (second) level and General Knowledge III (third) level, was attended by 50 students from the muftis of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Islamic mosques in Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia, and representatives of our congregations from Germany, Austria and North America.
At a ceremony held in the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque in Sarajevo, cash prizes and awards were awarded to the winners of the competition, as follows:

Fund ''Bošnjaci'' provided cash prizes and recognitions for the most successful competitors in four categories. On behalf of the Fund, the winners of the competition received recognitions and cash prizes in the amounts of 200.00 BAM for first place, 150.00 BAM for second place and 100.00 BAM for third place, presented by Šahin Kerla, the Fund's Director.
