DELEGATION OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY VISITED FUND ''BOŠNJACI''

In order to establish cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture, delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey led by Mr. Celil Gungor, General Director, and Ramazan Barin, Head of the Department for analysis visited Fund ''Bošnjaci''.

In the premises of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' and the Islamic community in B&H were held meetings attended by members of the Fund’s Management Board, the Director of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' and Director of the Waqf Directorate, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in B&H, representatives of the Directorate for Education and Science, Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of RIC, and representatives of the Federal and Cantonal Ministry of Education and Science.

During their stay in B&H representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey visited Shaheed cemetery 'Kovači', Museum '' Alija Izetbegović '' and the Tunnel of Hope in Sarajevo, the old bridge in Mostar and Tekke on Buna in Blagaj. One of exceptionally important visit was to the Center for upbringing, education, training and employment of mentally retarded children and children suffering from autism and cerebral palsy, "Vladimir Nazor '' in Sarajevo during which contact was established and agreed upon concrete cooperation.
