AWARDED CASH PRIZES AND CERTIFICATES TO THE WINNERS OF THE CONTEST FOR THE BEST LITERARY WORK

In the premises of Fund "Bošnjaci" were awarded cash prizes and certificates to the winners of the Contest for the best literary work on the topic ''I snaga i slabost su u srcima'' (Engl. ''Both strength and weakness are in the hearts.'').

For more than a decade Fund ''Bošnjaci'' has been launching a Competition for the best literary work on one of the current topics for high school pupils and university students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora.

This year's competition received 160 papers, which were submitted under the code to an authorized commission composed of: Sevret Mehmedćehajić, prof. (President), dr. Mustafa Prljača (Member) and Nezim Halilović, prof. (member).

After processing the submitted works, the Commission unanimously selected the top three. The first prize won Selma Ćenanović, 1st year student of the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo, second Iman Korić, 3rd grade pupil of the first Bosniak high school in Sarajevo and third Ajla Žujo, 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo.

Attendees were addressed and congratulated Šahin Kerla, Director of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' and Nezim Halilović Muderris, member of the Commission for review and selection of the best literary works.

The certificate and first prize in the amount of BAM 400.00 Selma Ćenanović was presented by Nezim Halilović Muderris, a member of the Commission for the Review and Selection of the Best Literary Works.

The certificate and second prize in the amount of BAM 300.00 was given to Iman Korić by Elmedina Ohranović, a member of the Management Board of Fund ''Bošnjaci''.

Third-placed Ajla Žujo did not attend the ceremony for justifiable reasons. The certificate and cash prize of BAM 200.00 will be subsequently awarded to the named.
