ASSIGNED CASH AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE 5TH FINAL COMPETITION FROM ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE 19th FINAL MAKTAB COMPETITION

Again this year Fund "Bošnjaci" awarded cash prizes and recognition to the winners of final competition of the 5th Islamic religious education for pupils of elementary and secondary schools and the 19th final maktab competition at the state level.

Competitions were held on May 7, 2016, in Madrasa ''Osman ef. Redžović'' in Visoko and May 15, 2016, in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo.

The fifth finals of Islamic religious education for pupils of elementary and secondary school is organized into two categories as follows: individual and team testing, magazine quiz-competition ''Stopama Miljenika'' (Engl. ''In the footsteps of beloved''), while the 19th final maktab competition was organized into three categories: Kira - younger, Kira - older age and a test of general knowledge.
Competition was attended by representatives of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, religion teachers, mullahs, and families and friends of competitors.

For the winners of both competitions are provided cash prizes and awards from Fund ''Bošnjaci'' and from the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Šahin Kerla Director of Fund ''Bošnjaci'' attended competitions and on behalf of the Fund presented to the winners awards and cash prizes in total amount of 1,800.00 KM. Fund ''Bošnjaci'' provided a copy of  the Fund awarded literary works collection named ''Vratit će se laste'' (Eng. “Swallows will return”) to all participants.
