CEREMONY OF DELIVERY OF AWARDS TO THE WINNERS OF A LITERARY CONTEST IN 2010 ON THE TOPIC "EVERYTHING MINE IS IN BOSNIA" AND "DO WHAT YOU CAN, WITH WHAT YOU HAVE, WHERE YOU ARE" (2010)


The Fund “Bosnjaci” Sarajevo traditionally organizes a public literary contest on one of the most current topics. The rights to participate in the competition have students from Bosnia and Diaspora.

Given that these are very interesting topics, during the last couple of years several hundred of students applied to the contest from the country and Diaspora as well.

This year, the Fund "Bosnjaci" announced a competition for the submission of works on two topics, namely:

1. "All mine is in Bosnia" and
2. "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are".

Commission composed of Aida Krzic, prof., Mirza Hamzic, prof., Selim Jarkoc, prof., Nezim Halilovic, prof. and mr. Senaid hfz. Zajimovic from one hundred and one submitted works chose to a short list works of Amina Kovacevic, Amela Jasarevic, Aida Alomerovic, Anes Osmic, Faruk Ajdinovic, Alma Karic, Azra Rizvi, Majda Dedic, Belma Covakovic and Elvedina Malkoc.

After careful consideration of these works, the commission chose the best four works as follows:

1. First prize was awarded to Amel Jasarevic, third year student of Philosophy Faculty in Sarajevo, recognition and cash prize in the amount of 900.00 KM;

2. The second prize was shared between Amina Kovacevic, a graduate of the Law Faculty in Tuzla and Aida Alomerovic, a graduate of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, recognitions and cash prizes in the amount of 300.00 KM;

3. Third prize went to Anes Osmic, first year student of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo recognition and cash prize in the amount of 300.00 KM.

Recognitions and awards are, in the Parliamentary Hall of Riaset of IC B&H, presented at a festive way with appropriate speech of Sahin Kerla, Director of the Fund and President of the Commission for reviewing of the submitted works Prof. Krzic Aida.
