THE LITERARY CONTEST IN 2012

Fund “Bošnjaci“ in the past as well as in this year, for students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad organized Contest for the best literary work.

This year the Fund “Bošnjaci“ announces the literary contest on the topics:

1. Postojimo ako pravimo korake jedni prema drugima (We exist if make steps towards each other) and

2. Bosanskim rijekama ne teče samo voda. (There is not just water that flows through Bosnian rivers.).

Once the Expert Commission makes selection of the best works in 2012, the Fund “Bošnjaci“ will announce the winning works at the ceremony held for that occasion, presenting the awards and recognitions.

Terms of reference:

• The works for contest can be submitted in different literary forms: stories, poems and other literary expressions of high school students and students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad;
• Registered works may contain a maximum of 7 pages of text (1 page = 1800 characters);
• Deadline for work submissions is August 15, 2012, until 15:00 hours;
• Works can be sent to: Fond “Bošnjaci“ Sarajevo, ul Džemala Bijedića br. 17, 71000 Sarajevo, or via e-mail: fondb@fondbosnjaci.co.ba;
• Results will be published August 29th, 2012, at the website of the Fund “Bošnjaci“ www. fondbosnjaci.co.ba as in the newspaper Preporod;
• Award amount is:
• The First Prize – 900,00 KM
• The Second prize – 600,00 KM
• The Third prize – 300,00 KM
• Awards and recognition will be given on September 5, 2012.
