High delegation of the ministry of education of the republic of turkey visited fund "Bošnjaci"


In the period from the 09th to 13th April 2018, a high delegation from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, headed by Celil Güngör, Director General of the Directorate for Special Education and Counseling Services of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, paid a visit to Fund ''Bošnjaci''.

In order to fulfill the obligations stipulated in the Protocol on Cooperation signed between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Turkey and Fund ''Bošnjaci'' concerning the provision of financial resources for scholarships to the children mine victims in Soma, and children with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a meeting of the Executive Board was held, which, besides members of the Delegation from the Republic of Turkey, was attended by the Director and members of the Managing Board of the Fund, and Mr. Vasi Ete, Attaché for Education at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Delegation of the Republic of Turkey and Fund ''Bošnjaci'' were received by prof. dr. Elvira Dilberović, Federal Minister of Education and Science, Consul of the Republic of Turkey in Mostar, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute in Mostar and Deputy Director of the Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Coordination for Sarajevo (TIKA).

On this occasion, a visit was organized to the Institute for Special Education and Education of Children "Mjedenica" in Sarajevo and the Center for Children and Youth with Special Needs "Los Rosales" in Mostar, where the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, via TIKA, provided the recovery of one number of classrooms. Educational aids and equipment will be provided for these and a number of schools.

In addition to official meetings, it is organized a visit to Shahid's cemetery Kovači, the Museum '' Alija Izetbegović, '' a military facility ARK D-0 in Konjic, and it is arranged a tour of Mostar, Počitelj, Blagaj, Travnik and Jajce.
